To commemorate the European Heritage Days this year, several Alliance Française in India launched photography contestes which took place in August and September 2012. Respectively, the contest were conducted at Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai and Jaipur.  While Mumbai and Jaipur themed the contest as hidden heritage of the city, the Alliance Française of Bangalore launched #BelleBangalore on their social network Français Mathadona as did the Alliance Française of Madras with Madras on the Move.

With the exemplary success of the photography contest themed Planète Femme last year, it was only fitting to have another one this year to celebrate the historical, architectural and artistic heritage of these cities  through the digital and social media participation (photography) on TwitterInstagram or Ning and pedagogic activity of literature and french language.
