The Institut Français en Inde in collaboration with the Alliance Française de Jaipur organised a training programme of 3 days in Jaipur from 8th to 10th November 2012 to train examiners for the DELF-DALF examinations. The training programme was held at the Red Fox Hotel in Jaipur with the objective of training the participants to enable them to become officially certified examiners to correct and evaluate the A1, A2, B1 and B2 levels of the DELF examinations. 24 participants who included teachers of the Alliance Française de Jaipur and 8 French language tutors from all over India who have been selected under the framework of the “French Language Tutors in India Programme 2012-2013” participated in this training programme.Formation à JaipurApart from the above-mentioned participants, several secondary school teachers teaching French in different schools of Jaipur participated in a separate module for the correction and evaluation of the DELF Junior examinations. The teachers were trained for the A1 and A2 levels of the DELF Junior examinations.

The 3 days of training focussed on the various criteria and elements which constitute the evaluation and the correction of the four sections of the DELF examinations: Reading, Speaking, Listening and Writing.This training programme was jointly conducted by Ms. Chantal Prost, the Attachée for Cooperation in the French language of the Institut Français en Inde and Ms. Nidhi Raisinghani, the Course Coordinator of the Alliance Française de Jaipur.

The Institut Français en Inde in collaboration with Alliance Française du Bengale organised a training programme for the teachers of the French language teaching in the states of West Bengal, Assam and Orissa on the 7th and 8th of November 2012 in the premises of Alliance Française du Bengale in Kolkata

25 teachers from the above-mentioned states participated in this training programme with different modules on speaking skills at the B1 level, listening skills at the A1 and A2 levels, the action-oriented approach in teaching, Theatre and FLE, French for children and didactics of FLE.

The trainers for the this training programme were Mr. Christian Rodier, Attaché for Cooperation in the French language at the Institut Français en Inde (Mumbai office), Mr. Alexandre Blondet, Course Coordinator of the Alliance Française du Bengale, Mr. Stéphane Amalir, Director of the Alliance Française du Bengale and Mr. Charles Faivre student of Masters in French as a second or foreign language, who is currently undergoing an internship at the Alliance Française du Bengale, respectively.
